Quotas

Every Verda account has quotas that limit how much of each resource you can use at once. If your workload needs more, you can request an increase from your account for:

Compute quotas

  • GPUs: total GPU count across on-demand instances and Kubernetes clusters
  • Spot GPUs: total GPU count across spot instances
  • vCPUs: total virtual CPU count, including on-demand and spot

Storage quotas

  • NVMe storage: total NVMe-backed storage capacity across block volumes and shared filesystems
  • Storage item count: number of individual storage resources across block volumes and shared filesystems

Account quotas

  • Projects: total number of projects allowed in account

For any other quota not listed here, contact us via the chat on the console or email [email protected].

Where to check for your resource quotas

  1. Log in to the Verda Console.
  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Account settings.
  3. Open the Quotas tab to see Resource quotas, showing your current usage and limit across all your owned projects.

Request an increase

  1. Find the resource you need more of and click Request increase.
  2. Enter your desired new limit. Use the 1.5x, 2x, or 3x shortcuts, or enter a custom value.
  3. Fill in Reason for increase: tell us what you're building and why you need more capacity, including expected workload and timeline.
  4. Submit the request.

Info

You can only have one open request per resource at a time.

Requests are typically reviewed within about one business day.

Track your requests

Click Requests & activity to see two tabs:

  • Pending requests: requests awaiting review, and can be cancelled here
  • History: past requests and their decisions

Each entry shows the resource type, status (Approved, Denied, Partially approved, or Cancelled by you), and your current limit against the requested amount. If a request is denied or only partially approved, a review note from the Verda team explains why.
